Coils - Industrial Ventilation Systems

Industrial ventilation and process systems use coils to help control temperatures inside your facility.  There are many different types of coils to choose from, and each has its specific advantages.  Eldridge Ventilation Specialists can help you determine the right coil for your ventilation and process needs.

For the highest quality, safety, and performance, we supply Aerofin brand coils to help you keep your temperature consistent.  Aerofin is one of the industry innovators and leaders in heating and cooling coils for industrial ventilation and process systems.

Coils work by providing heat or cold and allowing it to transfer to the air. They’re used in both chiller systems and forced air systems. Industrial HVAC coils contain either liquids or gases to heat or cool the air around them. This helps keep temperatures comfortable for those within your facility.

Liquids and gases in climate control coils include water, water-glycol mixes, steam, and chemical refrigerants. The type of coil can affect how your HVAC and industrial ventilation systems work, so it’s vital to choose the right ones and replace them as necessary.

If you need replacement coils or would like to retrofit your current industrial or commercial ventilation systems with more effective coils for your application, contact us today! Our experts are here to help.

Heat Transfer & Water Cooling Coils

There are a wide range of coils available for industrial ventilation systems. For cooling, heat transfer coils help cool the air by transferring heat to liquids inside the coils, whether water or a water-glycol mix.

Chilled water and hot water coils both use water to either add or remove heat from air inside your facility. Hot water coils take hot water from your boiler system to help heat the air for comfortable environments.

Water filled heating and cooling coils maintain pressure when pumped vertically, while refrigerants tend to lose pressure with distance and make pumping difficult. However, water heating and cooling coils may provide less uniform temperatures compared to refrigerants and steam coils.

Steam heating coils use low pressure steam to help with heating in your industrial or commercial facility. As we mentioned, steam coils help provide more uniform heat. It’s important to keep in mind, however, that industrial ventilation systems that use steam heating coils may require more energy to heat water high enough to produce steam.

No matter what your requirements or applications, our team is here to help you create successful environments. We’re industry leaders in industrial and commercial ventilation systems and can help you with climate control and ventilation options for comfortable, safe work interiors.
